Melissa and James | Chapel Hill NC Wedding Photographer

Melissa and James are one of the sweetest couples ever!  Their Chapel Hill wedding was so beautiful and full of fun surprises – such as a late night gelato bar by Sugarland and James serenading his bride with a song.  Little did they know, but James’ sister later surprised them by singing the song “A Thousand Years” as Melissa and James shared a dance together.  It was truly a beautiful day – I love the love these two have for each other.

Lauren and Stewart | Country Farm Wedding

In the words of my friend Leigh Pearce, “Be still my country lovin’ heart”.

Lauren and Stewart were married this past Saturday at their beautiful property in Council, NC.  Their wedding couldn’t have been any more perfect!  It was an honor to document such a wonderful, joyful day full of fun Southern staples!

Kayla Blackburn - This was suh a pretty wedding and I hate that I missed out on this amazing wedding. And the photos are great they bring out their personalities..

Donnie White - LOVED this wedding! Pics are really great, I think that the photographer captured almost every nuance of the spirit of the occasion, as well as the theme…I believe by the pics that this couple actually live this life, good old country, old fashioned is best almost always way of life, with clean, family oriented fun, even included the pets!

My daughter is a photographer and has a website; I wanted her to be able to check this out.

Cassandra’s Bridal Portraits | Cape Fear Botanical Gardens

This past Saturday, I watched one of my very best friends marry the love of her life…  but instead of holding a camera, I held a bouquet!  That’s right, I was a bridesmaid for my dear friend Cassi’s wedding!  It was an absolutely beautiful day and I’m grateful to have been a part of it.  I couldn’t be more excited for Cassi and Josh as they begin their new lives together!

Back in March, I photographed Cassi for her bridal portraits at the Cape Fear Botanical Garden – where her gorgeous wedding reception took place!  Her sister, Jordan (who was also the maid of honor), came along to join the fun!  We had a blast together!  Cassi, you are GORGEOUS.  You are such a beautiful bride!!!

Here a couple iPhone photos from the wedding this past weekend!  I loved my “Katniss Everdeen” inspired hair!  :)  So fun!
